Thought of The Week 1/8
Wil is one of our writers here at Grace Nation, he will be overseeing the entire thought of the week section. I am excited to see what God does through this section! Without further ado, here is Wil…
Going to a Christian School has brought many different challenges as well as many different experiences. It has brought probably one of the most refreshing things to get to witness as well as one of the most frustrating things to witness.
One of the most frustrating things that I have been seeing throughout my first my semester at a Christian School is seeing people who are weekend Christians, seeing people live like he’s not a part of their lives unless it’s Sunday morning, and that’s not at all what it’s about,” And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.” Romans 12:2
While there comes frustration there also comes one of the most joyful and refreshing things to see which is people getting changed and transformed by the love of God. While going to school, I’ve seen many people including some of my friends getting saved and seeing them getting transformed by the love of God, it is truly one of the most joyful and amazing things to witness and be a part of. “This is My commandment, that you love one another, just as I have loved you.” John 15:12
Though it has its frustrating parts, getting to see people getting saved and seeing people’s lives transformed is one of the greatest things and most joyful things I get to see.
Dear Lord, I pray that as everyone heads back to school where ever they go Lord that you’ll be with them Lord, I pray that you call people out of wherever they are and into your Love and Grace. In Jesus Name, I Pray Amen.
