Building Christian Bridges to Secular Literature
I want to introduce something fun that I plan on beginning here at GNM. I have been diving deep into a lot of secular literature, and I am not talking about mystery novels, or fantasy worlds, I have been spending a lot of time in modern secular philosophy. This phase of reading that I have found myself in has expanded the way I view secular philosophy and its differences from the Christian Worldview.
I have begun reading the book, “How Your Unconscious Mind Rules Your Behavior” and it has blown me away in so many ways. What I plan on doing is putting together a series of articles revolving around some of the major themes and topics discussed in this book, and then attempting to build a Christian Bridge to each theme.
We have to be aware that Christian themes are EVERYwhere, even in secular works. I also want to showcase the importance of reading “non-christian” books.
